This week has been like the past three weeks, being with high school, they are on a dead period were they are not having games and very few practices. However this week was the start of games. But at Emory since we didn’t get a load of snow we got a tornado, which didn’t happen.. the weather man was wrong.. We were experiencing Wednesday and Thursday. However Wednesday was the day the tornado was suppose to came through. We did not get a tornado, but we did get A LOT of rain. With the chance of the tornado and the high winds, they schools only had a half day, which cancelled all after school events. Then on Thursday, we were traveling to Battle high school for a soccer scrimmage.. which got cancelled due to all the rain flooding the fields. We were only able to do clinic work. However, doing clinic coverage we are able to work in a books a lot, I was able to achieve 12 more masteries. Achieving those masteries helped me get back to achieving my goals. After Thursday I was only able to get 2 hours and 30 minutes, which did not meet the 5 hour minimum limit for the week. I was able to talk to Melissa and clinically experience in the clinic at Emory on Friday… for the first time in a year… CRAZY. I was a little nervous going into the clinic because it had been so long I was worried I wouldn’t know how to do anything. However, I was able to review with Bre on Thursday, which helped me feel more comfortable. Friday felt like normal, almost like I hadn’t stopped experiencing. I was able to help with a couple rehabs: Chloe, ACL, Asia, ACL, Austin, ACL, and Creighton, labrum tear.
This week, was a lot easier then normal to achieve masteries due to the sports teams not having games yet, being in the clinic, we are able to sit and review without people coming in constantly. I was able to achieve 12 more masteries, which is still behind, but this week I should be able to get more because there are not any sports events yet, so we will be in the clinic.
